10 Ways The Rev Has Been Honored

When Jimmy 'The Rev' Sullivan passed away on December 28th 2009 at the age of 28, the music world was shaken. Not only was Jimmy a drummer, he was musician. Not only was Jimmy a band mate, he was a brother. The world without Jimmy will never, ever be the same, but here are 1o ways in which various people have honored the fallen legend.

1. Nightmare
The new Avenged Sevenfold album is released on the 27th June 2010. The bands bravery and heroic decision to carry on without Jimmy is being praised and the album, dedicated to their lost brother, is completely for him and in his memory.
2. Johnny Christ's tattoo.
Johnny Christ, youngest member of Avenged Sevenfold, honored Jimmy with a tattoo of Jimmy's 'deathbat form' across his whole chest.

3. M.Shadow's hand.
M. Shadows, singer of Avenged Sevenfold and best friend to Jimmy chose his right hand to honor his fallen companion as Jimmy was his 'right hand man'.4.Tal Cooperman, co owner of clothing line DCMA, represented by Matt and Jimmy and close friend of Jimmy, got Jimmy's face tattooed on him so his memory would always live on.
5. Tal again, got another tattoo started, this one saying 'FoREVer' the word many fans of Jimmy have began to use to remember the drummer always.
6. Twentyfour Core Tribute Video.
Twentyfour Core created a half an hour long tribute, celebrating Jimmy's life, shortly after his passing. This video is extremly moving and reminds everyone how incredible the man known as the Rev really was.
7. This picture, a still from a clip used in the Avenged Sevenfold DVD All Excess, is now mounted on the wall in the Warner Brothers music offices in remeberance of Jimmy.

8. Dedicated fans held a candle lit vigil in Central Park in Huntington Beach for Jimmy soon after his passing. Some spoke about Jimmy while others listened and many stood and sang songs written by the band.

9. Many fans have shown their honor for Jimmy by getting their own tattoo to remember the legend.
10. In this picture, it's hard to see but it says "DCMA & Buzznet present: Larger Than Life, Brandon Saller & It Boys In Loving Memory Of The Rev"
At this event, many people, including Tal Cooperman and Billy Martin wore t-shirts for Jimmy (shown below)
